Two Transport was well represented at the dedication of our unit plaque within the Vietnam Memorial in Canungra. Ron Butcher(platoon Sgt. 1 Pl ) gave a presentation on the role of the RAASC in Vietnam, in particular 1pl, 2pl and 87 pl. It was well received by all. Russell Dinte laid a wreath on behalf of all 2 Transport members. It was a very hot afternoon and a cold beer was most welcome. All in all it was a great day and it was great to catch up with some old friends. It's a pity that the memorial is so hard to visit with security at Canungra so tight. Wish I'd know this plaque was there, my Son has just finished 3 months there doing a course
